The Harrison Intermediate School Choirs are led by Mr. Brent Barnes. Consisting of more than 100 sixth grade students over four classes, the Buccaneer Choirs are active in the school and community and compete annually at the Hawaiian Falls Choral Festival. All sixth grade students interested in singing are placed in one of the four choir classes based on schedule.
All Harrison fifth grade students benefit from choral instruction every other day for one semester. In this class, a preview of choral music is provided to students as they sample the course and begin to find their voice.
For outstanding fifth and sixth grade singers, Harrison Choir features an auditioned honor choir, which meets weekly outside of the school day.
