Ms. Chandlar Head, Private Vocal Instructor, Wylie East HS

Originally from West Texas, Chandlar is excited to be joining Wylie ISD as a Private Vocal Instructor!  She will be attending UNT in the fall, pursuing a DMA in Vocal/Opera Performance. Chandlar received her Bachelor of Music from Eastern New Mexico University and her Masters of Music from Texas Tech University. Her featured roles include, Belinda in Dido and Aneas, Jo March in Little Women the Musical, Suor Angelica in Suor Angelica, Pamina in Die Zauberflöte and Adina in L’elisir d’amore. Her oratorio work includes Mozart Requiem, Vivaldi Gloria, Considering Matthew Shepard, selections from Elijah and tours in Spain and Italy. Chandlar has also performed as a featured soloist with the Texas Tech Symphony Orchestras on multiple occasions. In addition to performing, Chandlar enjoys teaching her studio of talented students.
