Our Raider Choir singers truly “IGNITED” their passion for music at our Wylie ISD Solo & Ensemble on Saturday. In all, Wylie East brought home 196 first division ratings, with 60 soloists receiving the highest rating of Superior and 136 ensemble students receiving “1” ratings in one of our nine performing ensembles. We are so proud of our Raider Choir members on an outstanding job today.
Additionally, 5 students and 4 ensembles were selected as “outstanding” in their room and were invited to perform in the WISD Vocal Honors Recital in the auditorium at Wylie HS on Monday at 7:00 pm. Honors recital soloists included Madison Bazaldua, Delaney Crane, Carlos Harris, Lucy Ramirez, and Eva Shipp. Ensembles chosen were A Cappella 1, Bel Canto 2, Out of the Blue 1, and Out of the Blue 2.
